The Diocese of Tlapa operates a music school with Sister Josefina de la Torre. 135–160 students learn to play a variety of instruments and to sing. The school is supported by the diocese. Mission Mexico provides funds to feed 90 to 100 people for 31 days. Eating a balanced diet for the duration of the course enables students to respond better to their school and life.
