Total budget:
$3,800 CDN Water is scarce in the Mountain region of Tlatlauquitepec, which means that flush toilets are not a possibility. Odourless ecological toilets both conserve water and enable waste to become organic fertilizer which can be used in families’ gardens. Group members attend workshops to learn how to build the toilets, then help one another build them. Mission Mexico funds provide materials (concrete, sand, toilets) for the chamber mold for each family; the families commit to putting up walls and a roof.
