A Special Needs Program team provides assessments and treatment for children and adults; midwives offer prenatal and postnatal care and attend home deliveries, as well as assist in a primary care clinic; and a women’s wellness center is under construction. Dr. Susan Smith, Director of Atzin, is from Calgary and lives in Mexico overseeing the Atzin programs, which are designed to improve the life of the people of Tlamacazapa.
